Once upon a time, there was a brave jackal who often wandered through the villages in search of food. The village was filled with dogs that scared away the jackal. Although he was afraid of dogs, the jackal loved food and made frequent trips to the city.

One day, when he was about to enter a house, he heard barking. He was startled to see a pack of dogs running towards the house. They looked violent and frightened the jackal. He ran and fell into the blue-colored tub. The dogs could not see him and ran the other way.
Now the jackal had turned completely blue from head to toe. He looked very different from any other animal. The jackal was happy because no one would recognize him and he could easily fool anyone in the jungle.
As he thought, everyone was surprised to see such an unusual animal in the forest. The little animals, the lion, and the tiger all asked who he was and who had sent him. “I have been sent by God himself to take care of you. Now I will be the king of the jungle," said the jackal. The lion protests saying that he has always been the king of the jungle. "From now on, this has to be changed and you all must serve me," said the jackal happily. Some animals like the tiger protested and asked what would happen if they did not obey him. He replied that if they did not do so, God would destroy the entire forest.

Scared for their lives and their forest, the animals asked the blue jackal what he wanted them to do. "Bring me lots of food," said the blue jackal immediately. The animals ran quickly and returned with a lot of food for the jackal. He had so much food that he gave his leftover food to other animals and told them to serve him fresh food every day. He even threw a pack of jackals out of the forest because he knew that someday they might recognize him. The blue jackal was very proud of himself for fooling the whole jungle and was happy to be away from the dogs of the city.
But one day a banned pack of jackals was roaming in the forest and howling loudly. The blue jackal also growled out of habit. Because of this mistake, the other animals quickly mistook him for a jackal and destroyed him.
